I know noone has posted anything today lol
It stopped raining so i went out to work on my new quail pens that i'm trying to build and 15 minutes later it starts pouring again lol

I don't have any waders. They are on my wish list though. I wear old beat up sandals and fuss the whole way out.

The standing water on the back of the property is about a foot deep. More standing water everywhere, garden destroyed, can't mow, can't build anything it might sink.. It can quit now, I think our drought is over.

Exit 404 go towards High Springs (right for northbounders, left for southbounders)
Keep going straight past the bend, there will be a Welcome to High Springs on the right hand side. There is a dirt road right there (227 dr) take dirt road exactly 1 mile you will see the open gate. This is where the parking will be in my south pasture. (it's right across from a long brink house) I hopefull will have some signage out to help...

Tricia, I put 12 more turkey eggs in the hatcher today. Let's hope for better luck with the hatch this time.

I kicked all my roos out of the main coop today (except for my main 3) and opened up the mud hole so the hens can finally get off the wire and onto dry land. Also let one pen of teenage chicks out with them too. I convinced dh to put on another door and break the pen in half so the hens can have the drier half. Now he just has to do it. I told him I had to have it done before the swap! I don't have the $ to build my new coop but I do have everything to split the coop. Just need the help

I am so sick of slipping, slidding and stinking like chicken mud.

I might be bringing a few turkeys. Most of them will be the Palms since they are the ones that are hatching best it seems.

Are you going to have some of the button quail? I so want some of them! Shhhhhhhh...don't tell Siman

The incubator is loaded with 126 eggs. Should have quite a crew to bring with me. IF all goes well!

I already have Cuckoo Marans, and Bantam Blue Cochins that were hatched last week. Maybe a few Silkies also.

Yes, I have some button quail

I think I have 5 or 6 that I am looking to do something with. I have 14 total with some eggs in the bator. I don't know if they are any good or not. I moved my adults outside and they haven't laid an egg since I moved them. I don't think they were very happy about it

I bought a few turken eggs for Emily. They should be here on Monday.

that they get here ok and hatch for her. Also got some phoenix too

They are coming from Fl. so I am hoping it's ok.... She said she should have more this week so I may order those too. I never liked them until Emily got Alex and he was sweet and cute. I was so sad when he died last month

Now I am on a mission to get more LOL!

Hi My name is Micki. I went to Kelly's first swap but DH had his hours changed and havent been able to come to any more swaps. DD hsd decided we should come to this one. We will be bringing some 10 weekold chicks and some 5 week olds haven't decided exactly what yet but will post tomorrow once we have gone out and checked the chicks. Tried to get a list today but with the rain.... We will be coming from Perry Is there anything snack we shuld bring please let me know . Thanks Micki
