CENTRAL FLORIDA SWAP MEET for June 20, 2009

We did the plywood bottoms for bio-security when going to swaps. I plan on turning them so the door opens on the side and using them for summer brooders. It will have a slide out bottom for easy cleaning.

I have an idea!! You should make the door on the side. That way you can have the plywood bottom for the swaps, then flip it upside down so the plywood is a roof on the brooder!

I'd take a couple like that!

He went in with some hens and is doing well. Likes to challenge other roos through the wire and definately thinks he's top dog LOL! He has a lot of spunk. No more issues with him. I think it was because I bumped him with the cage door when it unlatched and he took it the wrong way. He seems to be ok since then. Was very happy to get back on the ground after being on the wire for so long because of the mud.
Are you coming to the swap today?

O thank you so much for giving him a good home

Had a great time Saturday and wanted to let those I purchased from that the birds I picked up are doing fine.
Kelly,
Don't forget if you still want to get rid of the Ameraucana to let me know when you are passing close this way and I will meet you'
Tricia thank you for having us and I look forward to the next.
If you guys ever need me to host I would be happy to do it, just don't know what kinda turn out we would get here in Dixie.

Tricia hows the little turkeys doing? The 13 I have here are growing by leaps and bounds. They tower over the little chicks in the brooder.
I am down to 5 broody hens and I emptied the bator this morning. I think I might take the month off from hatching...unless something comes along that I can't live without....
