I love the Polish and I got the PAIR for $10!!! As soon as I sell 1/2 dozen eggs I'll have my money back...LOL.

Well I guess you can say they will be worth their weight in gold! They are really nice & for the auctions that is great! From what I hear the ones up here even the mixed junk chickens have been going for over $8.00 each at least! So you got a great bargin--I may be your first customer for eggs!

Yeah, I couldn't believe how cheap the hens were. I got 2 EE hens today for $3 each! I think the auction is my new favorite place. And DH was bidding as much as I was, so there's no control at all!

That is amazing. I went to an auction down in Ocachobee a few years ago & they let you drink while you are bidding--Needless to say I came home w/10 RIR Roosters! Like I needed those like a hole in the head I wasnt even doing chickens at that time & I still dont know how much I paid for the dumb things...That was the last time I went to an auction!

That's hilarious! DH wanted to get a RIR roo, but I told him he must wait since we already have to build a few new breeding pens and we already have a 6-wk-old RIR cockerel.

Hey well talking about auctions I went to the local one today...did not buy birds but got a double laying box for $1.00 and chicken wire rolls for $3.00 a roll one is a 50 ft roll...you can get some real deals at them.....

Ya know its amazing you will never have enough pens to keep all your chickens in.lol I have a friend that just build a chicken barn like mine & hers is totally full & she needs another one! So tell him to keep building! You will keep finding new breeds of chickens you like & cant live w/out! I kinda finally settled on a few--Now its get every color I can then of course you need different bloodlines & then....& it just keeps going!
