CENTRAL FLORIDA SWAP MEET - JAN. 17th

Well, a lot of other people on here said their chickens also sneeze occasionally, especially when stuffing their faces (which is usually when mine sneeze). The frequency did seem to increase after those hard rains we had, but seems to have decreased again, so I think everyone is fine. I put them on antibiotics just to be safe, but nobody is acting sick or anything, so I'll just keep an eye on them.

Sure! Dust, food particels and stuff up the nose will make anything sneeze (makes me sneeze) but with all the bird traffic and weather changes I would keep them on the meds for a few days just to play it safe

Bitty girl

A funny thing happened when I let the Sumatras out for the first time. I opened the door pushed them out and they just stood there

Then they turned around and went back inside, looked me like I was crazy and why did I leave the door open

I am not surprised-They were like that at first when I let them out. Give them time to get adjusted & figure you out! You will know when they get adjusted! That coop will be empty one night!

I think Im going to bring a trio of barred rocks; they will be young, tho, just a couple of months old. Kelly, with you getting rid of ee's, do you still want me to hatch some out for you? Let me know, Im going to be setting some this week and next. Im going to bring some to the swap, but Im going to bring however many you want, too.

I will also have a young Welsummer roo that I will bring if anyone wants him. He's just beginning to crow, and hasnt shown any interest in girls yet.
