CENTRAL FLORIDA SWAP MEET - JAN. 17th

I have 5 duck eggs (3 Cayuga, 1 Buff, 1 Buff/Pekin) in the bator that are all growing great! I also have 15 Cayuga eggs on their way to me, so I should have plenty of those by swap time.

That is to funny. I love mine I cant wait for my Mandrians & Wood Ducks to start laying so I can steal their eggs & hatch them out. I hatched the Calls out & they were so tiny & these guys are even smaller than them. I cant wait to see them at a hour or two old! I love them. I have about 20 ducks but those are my favorites!

Even my hubby loves those--He wants me to sell all the rest of my ducks & just fill my pond w/those.

Well let me know when the Wood Ducks start laying. DH wants some of those or Mallards. I'm only planning on keeping 2 or 3 of the ones I hatch b/c I don't have that much room for them right now!

Oh I have Mallards also--No way do they even come close the colors & personalities. They are so sweet & they beg for cat food. Also they have a really light whistle not a quack which is so nice. They are not loud at all. Mallards are okay but these guys oh wow they will knock you off your feet w/how GORGEOUS they are. They are pretty in pics but in person a whole different story. I am amazed that they are so sweet. Everyone told me they would fly away if I let them out of a pen the like the pond & regular feed so they wont go anywhere!LOL

Well I am gonna bid you a good night I have got to hit the hay. I am on meds & my head is gettin a little fuzzy!

Sorry Editting done for my bad spelling I am really fuzzy!LOL NIte one & all

I actually think he got smooshed in the corner under everyone else while they were sleeping last night. There's a little triangle area in the corner of the pen they're in where the wood is braced and that's where they all pile to sleep. He was really stuffed down in there, so I think he got suffocated or crushed...I feel bad for him.

Anyone interested in 2 EE cockerels? One is 7 weeks, the other is 10 weeks. I have 4 roos, can't keep any more with the crowing. Wish I could. It breaks my heart. I'm in Spring Hill , 35 miles north of Tampa, and willing to meet anyone half way. Standard please

i am trying to talk my dh into us going to the swap. Is your place pretty acessible? My dh is in a wheelchair from loosing his leg in April. I won't have any birds to bring, I am trying to restock my pens from loosing my birds when dh was in hospital. I need a silkie roo, blue rosecomb bantams, OEG spangled hens. and I would love to find one New Hampshire red chicks if anyone will have any. I will keep you posted and will tell you what type of food I can bring. This sounds exciting.
Thanks Leslie

My yard is accessible but there are steps up to the house. I'm sure we could figure something out though.
