But I did find a breeder who's close by and will sell me just hens. By the way, not to brag, but my Polish from the auction were just as good as the best ones there...and better than a lot.

3 marans chicks!!!! 1 wheaten 1 blue wheaten and 1 blue!!!! I am so thrilled!!!


Kelly I got a number from a couple out in Callahan that breed Polish and I swear they had black and buff laced polish there. They were selling them in pairs.
 
Go you on the Marans chicks! I'm buying 1/2 dozen Wheaten Marans eggs from Bev...picking them up tomorrow.

I sold the columbian cochins!! Thanks everyone...As much as I would like to have kept them, we have space issues and caretaker issues soon. I will take pics of them tomorrow so everyone can see. I took a few photos of some of the birds today and will post them on the Lake City show thread.
 
Wish I had of signed on earlier for the cochins. I was exhausted from the show. Really cool to go see & buy though. I loved it. Spent WAY to much money! But I got a pair of Millie Fluers!
