Hi Everyone!
I wanted to introduce Eggins to you all!
She was hatched at preschool in Santa Clara CA
I adopted her when she was dropped off at the farm my wife worked at.
We moved to Illinois last January for work and brought her with us in the cab of the truck (along with the cat and both rats and the apple snail)
She adapted to only indoor life because of the winter and hasn't looked back since!
Her mom has sewn an evolution of chicken diapers (we call them aprons for chick's sake)
each getting better than the last
She sleeps in our walk-in closet at night, and lays her eggs in the shoe closet in the living room.
She takes baths in the kitchen in her big clear plastic tote partially filled with mulch, every night.
She has laid eggs in my arm while i was holding her on three separate occasions!!!
She is amazing!
