Central SC (recently central OK)
I am trying to help the wildlife center in Noble OK find homes for the abandoned ducks and ducklings they have and will have throughout the spring and summer. Currently, there are 3 ducklings that are 2-3 weeks old (a pekin, a crested pekin, and a likely rouen) and one who is less than a week old (a likely blue swedish). There is also an adult male chocolate runner. An adult female likely silver appleyard is undergoing treatment for a broken leg and then will also look for a home when well. If you can provide a good home - where the ducks will be enjoyed as pets or barnyard animals, not eaten or used to start a breeding business, and you will be able to provide some plan for their protection, particularly at night, I would love to hear from you. Ducks do not require a pond or a kiddy pool, although they certainly enjoy them. Thank you for your help. (The reason I say 'likely' is that I am no longer in the area so I'm going by photos the worker send to me. I used to be there to see them myself and to drive them to their new families, but I've moved away and am just trying to continue to help out as much as I can from far away. Ducks are worth it!

if you would ship i would take them and add them to my flock but i would have to wait and sell some chicks to pay for the shiping

Hi, thanks for asking. We did find homes for that group. However, we now have 2 young pekins, a young muscovy, and a muscovy duckling. We also have a young brown male duck who came in unable to walk who is now walking but is still a bit weak so still on meds. If you are interested in adopting to give them a kind home, I'd be happy to get some photos for you. I did post about some of them in another message here. Thank you.
