During a visit to Tractor Supply, my wife, daughter, and I brought home two ducklings. The ducklings resided in our makeshift brooder station until their coop and run were completed. However, I am now faced with a concern. I believe my Rouen duckling is female, but I am uncertain about the sex of the Pekin. As I have two different breeds, I am considering two options if the Pekin is male. I could either purchase adult female Rouens from another breeder or acquire two female Muscovy ducks. These options are based on price and location. Can I integrate the Muscovy ducks without issue, or will they fight?

I think that as long as you integrate them slowly and carefully, it should go fine. I don't see how integrating muscovies would be different then integrating any other breeds if that's what you're concerned about.

My son integrated a rescued female muscovy with his pekins. The females were all hunky dory within a few hours, but the drake rejected her. I ended up swapping my son's pekin drake with a pekin drake from my rescue flock.
