1. Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Yes, new as can be lol we bought 6 chicks from my son's school (hatched in 2nd grade classrooms) in November & 6 more 1 week later from a local farm&ranch supply. 5 of the 6 we bought at the store lived.
2. How many chickens do you have right now?

3. What breeds do you have?
Of the ones from school was a RIR rooster, 2 white hens (leghoen maybe?), I think 2 are RIR and I'm not sure about the 6th. The other 5 are New Hampshire Reds.

5. What are some of your other hobbies?
I dye my own yarns & fibers for spinning, spin, crochet, and read. As well as kill things in my garden
6. Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I have 2 kids, 1 boy, 1 girl and live on a small ranch in Central Texas with them and my husband. My mother in law moved in last October. We have dogs, cats, horses and........ chickens! *gasp*
