Central West Virginia, anyone?

Hi there! I joined last month and have been trolling

We are homesteading in Central West Virginia on our little plot of hillside. Silkies and Ameru's are my interest (the prettier the better) but we are also getting into goats. I'm trying to convince the hubby of some peacocks, ducks, and an alpaca but I think he's mad enough over the pyrenees/anatolian dog that I drug home recently He's excited for the goats and chickens and after he met an alpaca recently, I think he likes them secretly!

Any West Virginiains out there?! I know there's at least one from a coop design post I saw!

Welcome to our world! Alpacas are adorable animals, but you may want to think through what keeping them entails before you get some. I've heard that they can be a lot of work. I'm sure they are worth it, though!
