Ceramic eggs

Do chickens notice if you put a mark on your cermaic egg. Twice lately I've brought a cermaic egg in with the real ones, and I'd like to stop that.

Just use old golf balls. The dimples will help you tell them apart from the eggs.

I don't think they'll mind. We use two decoy eggs, neither of which look anything like their eggs. One is white marble and the other is pink ceramic. Go ahead and put a smilie face on yours, if you like.

They won't care. We use golf balls and plastic Easter eggs. One of the plastic eggs is a huge one and they sit on it and arrange it under themselves like any other. I think we even have a Silly Putty egg out there! (The egg that Silly Putty comes in, I mean, not an egg made out of Silly Putty
