Check with your local horse-boarding facilities, too. A lot of them use bulk sawdust for bedding so they might know a good source. They might even sell you a load.

I have used wood shaving from a cabinet and furniture maker but it isn't the same as the pine shaving I usually buy from the feed store I get my feed.
