Chain Link Chicken Run Questions

I'm building a dog kennel chicken run and I also need to frame the gate with 2x4's. I am the complete opposite of a handy person - how do you attach the 2x4's to the gate? I'm also planning a cover made out of plywood and hardware fabric. I know how to attach the plywood and fabric to each other but how do they attach to the chain link?

Any help is so much appreciated!!!! I'm trying to finish it this weekend.

We started working on the door and the brackets that I posted are not going to work. They are to wide or we got the wrong size. Going back to the store tomorrow to see what else may work.

if your worried about the gap between (around the gate ) get some galvanized pipe the same size as your gate some self tapping metal screws and screw pipe to gate to take the gaps out on the hinge side you might have to flatten the pipe out a little so gate wont hit hinges , I hope this helps and I understood your question right ?,,,,,,,,Fluff

you might look in the electrical section for different kinds of straps for attaching conduit.

I wonder how they attached the door to the run.I have a gap in between the top of the run and were the door closes also.

My husband drilled holes in the pipes and we are going to use bolts to attach. I will post pictures tomorrow morning.
