Chainlink extenders with electric or barbed wire to keep predators out.

I have a 4 ft chain link fence and would like to increase height to keep predators such as foxes, coyotes, bobcats, raccoons out. I was looking at fence extenders but they are only about 2 ft tall. I could put them straight up or outward at a 45 degree angle. Would either of these be enough to deter? Barbed wire or electric? Open to suggestions, is there anything else that might work and be more pleasing to the eye?

Are you planning on 1/2" hardware cloth also? If your in weasel country they can get through chain link fence.

No, I was not planning on it. No weasels thankfully. More concerned about larger animals that might harm dogs.
