On (another) Side Note: It’s hard to tell without checking everyone’s public profile info (IF it was publicly listed by anyone), but after becoming so invested in this post & everyone involved I started randomly wondering about everybody’s ages.....?
I feel pretty old in this thread, although that doesn’t make me feel more educated in any way, lol!
Anyone care to share their ages? If not exact age, how about:

•40’s
•etc, etc

I'm really late to this but I'm 15. I have 2 roos, 4 hens, 11 pullets, 3 incubating eggs all with embryos, and soon will have 15 meat birds.

Also late, Lydia, but I am 14. I have started over with 3 hens and 3 roosters, all straight run, 2-4 months old, and will get a bunch of pullets later this year. We lost 5 hens to predators last year and sold the last one, and we moved out of the city and into the country since then and have a much bigger coop and much further neighbors. So they won't care as much when they scream at sunrise, breakfast, brunch, noon, afternoon, dinner, sunset, evening, midnight, and every time in between. My mom is also a little duck-obsessed so we may have some ducklings to go with our pullets later this year.
