hello everyone! Any advice appreciated!
My 7-8 mo old blue Andalusian's behavior changed about a month ago.
First her mentation become very dull after laying. She would walk slowly, look spacey and very pale (comb & waddle). A couple of these episodes only lasted maybe 30 min to a couple hours. Then we noticed no eggs for 4+ days from her. Now her comb has shrunk (the weather is colder now), she avoids human contact if she can (which she was always wanting love or food) and still no eggs. Might also seem a little thinner even though she eats all the time.
She's also being picked on by the top ladies which she was a part of.
Any ideas?

I would get some fresh droppings checked out by a vet for worms and coccidiosis. Check her crop in the early morning to see if it is emptying overnight. A hard or puffy crop in early morning would be a sign of a crop problem. It is pretty unusual fro a hen in her first season to not lay through winter. A possible problem might be in her reproductive tract. Maybe give her 2 ml of Poultry NutriDrench daily, and get her eating some treats like chopped eggs or tuna, or a bit of liver.

Thank you for the info!
As far as eggs: does it matter if hard boiled or scrambled?

I would give her a half to one a day. Then take up what she doesn’t eat. Egg is usually readily accepted even by sick chickens. NutriDrench can be given 2-3 ml per day, a little at a time, or put into food.

Good advice from @Eggcessive . Is she showing any signs of a juvenile molt? Is her comb always flopped over? While you feel her crop, also check that there is still some muscle on her chest. Also, does her abdomen (fluffy butt) feel swollen and squishy at all? Is her poop normal?

No signs of molt, yes her comb was always large and flopped over. Her crop was completely empty this morning, however i forgot to feel her chest muscle. I’ll have to catch her later today and watch for poop. I haven’t been able to see what her poops have been like (who has time to follow a chicken around all day? lol)

Good morning!
I’ve checked her crop this morning and yes it emptied completely. I’ve ordered the NutriDrench so I’ll start that soon. Thanks for your help!! I’m sure I’ll be asking more questions later
