I had a Saxony duck for a little over a year, and she laid the most beautiful mint green eggs for me. I sold her this year to a fellow BYC'er, and she reports that she is laying again, but her eggs are always white. What gives? I know egg color lightens as the laying season progresses, but then is supposed to resume to the darker color when a new cycle resumes. I'm confused!

I don't think I ever asked how old she is, I didn't realize you had her for that long. Weird that her eggs would change now.
