I noticed the package of sav-a-chick electrolyte powder that you mix with water notes that it should be changed daily. Is that because it loses its effectiveness quickly, or does water with the electrolytes grow bacteria more quickly than plain water? My chicks are drinking from a container with a nipple, so the water doesn't get dirty.
