Wish changing the brand of laying mash affect my chickens? I use to feed them Purina Layena but changed to something I got at tractor supply last night? Just wondering... I think the brand was Domar or something like that. It's still crumbles..

I don't think it should harm your chickens.

You can give them another brand, but many folks have a favorite brand and notice that another brand might not be so high in quality. Won't hurt the chickens any unless the brand is bad. I don't know anything about the Dumor brand.

We use Dumor - the chickens seem to prefer it to Purina. The couple times they were out of the Dumor pellets, we bought the Purina, and it took a couple days before they really wanted it. They like what they're used to!
