One of my Rhode Island Reds, Curly Sue, has suddenly developed a droopy comb. What could this indicate? Other than that, she seems fine. The comb also looks a bit darker than usual. Should I be worried?

Sorry. I can't seem to get a decent picture between the direct sunlight and the rooster's protective nature. He doesn't like cameras!
BUT the comb does not have spots on it anywhere. It's just droopy and a bit bluish on the tips. The hen does seem a bit sluggish. Any ideas?

I just saw your last post. I'm not sure whether she's laying or not. We're only getting one or two eggs out of 8 hens each day. I posted a question yesterday about that. If she is laying, she's not laying very often! I think my Barred Rocks are the only ones laying any eggs. Why? What am I doing wrong here?

I'm sure it's nothing your doing. Let me do a search for you and see what I can find. bluish tips don't sound all that good though. Keep trying to get a picture if you can that would really help. Is there any sort of discharge coming out of her vent area?

No. No discharge. You are so sweet to help! I'll check back in awhile. I have things to accomplish! I'll do some research myself a little later--and I'll also check back with you. Thanks a lot!
