Changing Brand from big name brand to locally sourced non gmo

Is it ok to switch from big name Nutregena chicken feed to locally sourced chicken feed that is non gmo?

I would recommend doing a quick google search on the company or see if you can find reviews on their feed. Likely should be no problem.

I get all my feed from a locally sourced organic feed company. I have seen no difference between it and the big brand stuff at the feed store.

I switched from TSC to Prince - regional brand. Freshness and non-GMO makes all the difference for me. (and it’s $1.50/#50 less).
If anyone can find a local or regional source, try it out for a month. Local economy benefit is a bonus
