Hello,
I've got a question concerning changing the position of an egg during incubation. I gathered 25 goose eggs in 2 large egg racks for a GQF 1502. When I put them in, I discovered problems due to how tall the eggs were when placed vertical. I ordered new racks that position the eggs horizontal. The eggs have been in the incubator for 4 days.
So the question is: Can I change the eggs from a vertical to a horizontal position without killing the egg? Is the air sack "locked in" at the top of the egg? Will the air sack migrate to the side without problems?

Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do.
