Changing egg position mid incubation

Has anyone switched egg positions during incubation? Would this hurt the developing embryo?

Such as starting them standing upright (pointed end down) and than switching them to laying on their sides?
Just curious. Thoughts?

Makes no difference, as long as the pointy end is not up. Broody hen would turn the eggs randomly while she sits on them.
