Changing Feed!

My chicks are 8 and 10 weeks old and I am going to start giving them grower. Should I give them medicated grower and is there even any such thing?

We raise our on a chick starter until they lay.

We transfer ours over to straight grower by mixing percentage at 50-50 until the starter runs out. The same applies when we transition to layer at about 15-16 weeks. We never use medicated, exception being if we buy new chicks then only for a few weeks.

Did I do something wrong here, I just put them altogther today and filled the feeders with the organic starter, is that going to upset the 8 week olds they were getting the medicated starter? Thankyou!
