Changing from cots to bobs--what do I need to know for successful hatch?

I have a cot batch hatching today. Yay! I want to start collecting bob eggs and incubate those. I know bobs are 23 days instead of 18-19. What else do I need to know?

And, how should I clean the eggs before setting? My bobs are on a wire mesh floor w/a shoe box of hay for laying, but they constantly poop in their nest so every single egg is nasty dirty when collected. Hints for that? If we're going to eat them, I soak them clean and scrub w/soap & water. Don't think I can do that w/o damaging hatchability.

You can use sand paper to clean crud off eggs. And only clean the areas that are really dirty. Some crud won't hurt anything. I wouldn't wash them if you can help it.

Bobs need 99.7 temp, 55% to 60% humidity and at lock down on day 20, increase humidity by 10%.
