Alaska isn't the best place for solar power. Even if it is sunny, the areas she's talking about only get around 5-6 hours of daylight, or less, in the winter months.
I think its interesting that the OP hasn't posted since the first post. Was this a poke a stick and see what happens post? She hasn't even commented on the questions about what she is doing on the acre she has now. We're all just debating this all between ourselves.
