Hi There,
We just got some Chantecler's who were not yet laying, I just found an egg that is MUCH larger then any eggs our other breeds have ever produced. I am curious if this is an anomaly or if this is what to expect. I have put it next to my largest Ameraucana egg for comparison.
I also have one that I am questioning if it is a hen or a roo (sorry the pictures turned out dark) as it's feather's on the back are different then the girls and more like the two cross breed ones we know are roos...
So much for my 6 egg layers.
