That may be difficult depending on what you consider to be productive.
The original Chantecler was bred to lay up to 210 eggs per year. I doubt that you will find a strain that is reliable at that level, but I have never asked. There may be some around. You're going to have to be a little persistent. I will be breeding for production over the next few years as that is what I am interested in, but I don't have any for that yet. Most people that would have production flocks are most likely in Quebec. That is where I would look.
Regrettably that is one place where I do not have many contacts. It is hard to get into those circles sometimes.
