I had read many of the integration posts, but didn't realize the short window to add a few more birds. Our first chickens were added just a few weeks ago. Three of the pullets are very bossy. The breeder was on vacation when I decided I wanted a couple of his RIR's. I let them loose to see how it would go as they had been raised together for 10 or so weeks. The three girls were horrible. I walked away to set up food and water and they pecked one until she bled. I feel just horrible. Today they are in a kennel inside the pen. This weekend we have a dog kennel we will set against the run. Should I do this for a week and then see how it goes?
