I meant to say charcoal, I burn wood personally. I remember carrying 100lb sacks of coal when in the UK. Dirty stuff!
Ok very weird question..... what about cardboard? Burnt cardboard ash? Can it be used?
I have not read through every response so this may have been answered. I would never use ash from regular charcoal briquettes because of the binders and things added. What I would like to know, is I use Hardwood Lump Charcoal in my grills. Does anyone know if the ash from hardwood lump charcoal would be safe? Thanks for the feedback
No, from wood.charcoal, as in the briquettes for a bbq. The ash from those is not safe b/c of the additives.
