Congrats I noticed that my first hatched is the same way and I have 23 in there. I just took it as a big brother thing (everyone tells me the first born is always a roo can't prove it by me).

Charlotte's eggs she's sitting on started hatching today while I was at school. Here is two of the cuties my mom took on the cell phone and sent me. She doesn't mind us looking at them at all, although the bribe of crunched egg shells didn't hurt,, she loves them, I hope they are ok for her!

She's such a good mommy!!! I think there are 4 now, but it's dark, she's black, and they're blue,,, lol I'll check in the daylight!

Crushed egg shells are fine to give her. Just make sure they are cleaned, dried, or cooked so you don't have to worry about sominilla (sp). Mine love their crushed egg shells (I microwave them).
