Chase Bank = Love/Hate Relationship

I forgot to add that at one point Chase put a 48 hr hold on my direct deposits. They told me it hadn't cleared yet. I threw a MAJOR hissy fit. It is a direct bank to bank transfer, not a check that needs to be processed! They finally stopped doing the hold on my direct deposits. Nothing like having to wait 2 days after every pay day to access your money!

There was a time when they would put a 24-hour hold on my direct deposits, as well, but come to find out it was because my then-employer had made many mistakes with their OWN banking institution in years prior, so Chase didn't trust the employer's account. It took me many visits to a Chase branch and finally got an answer over the phone when I called.
