Chased by dog

A local dog found its way into my garden and my chickens have bolted into fields and other trees or gardens I guess. They’re brown leghorns so hopefully found a roost in a tree somewhere overnight but my question is will they come home? They’ve never left the garden before.

They should show back up around dusk if they've been living in your coop every night.

You may try shaking a treat bucket or some noise they'll recognize to show them it's safe.

Yeah I’ll keep trying, I’ve left the coop open in the hope they’ll be in there by morning
