I live in a town where 5 other people have chickens. most don't spoil them as much as me. well actually they somewhat neglect them. :/.
I had a lady come to my door asking if i was missing a chicken i said no, she asked me if i could catch one for her. I immediately said yes and called my friend and spent 3 hours running all around the neighborhood after what i thought was a hen. i thought wrong! I was going to catch her and keep her because i saw the home she escaped from and how poorly it was. no straw, proper food, and a place to lay eggs. The rooster when i finally caught him i realized he did not have a waddle. that is why i predicted he was a hen. Well i brought him home gave him water food and called a friend of mine. She was supper excited to take him, he is currently living on a free range farm with tons of chickens. Thought it was a nice story to share
