So, I’m a little disappointed. The BBS Ameraucana chicks are turning out to be… I don’t even know. The black cockerels have whit on them, the blues and splash have some weird yellow, and I don’t even know if they’re Ameraucanas.
Pictures please?

Black can have white specks sometimes. It's an imperfection.

Yellow, could be due some sort of pigmentation from corn, or possibly Autosomal red.

Here’s the black one with the white

Interesting. I really don’t know, all she said was that they were BBS . So you think they are still Ameraucanas?
Yes, everything else about them fit the Ameraucana breed standard, except the color/leakage. But since they have an error, most would call them EEs.

I see Ameraucanas as just an Easter Egger with a Standard. They have a very complicated history.

From the research I have done that really seems to be the case. Ameraucanas were the original EEs, until a standard was developed. I can’t remember how well they “breed true”.
