I didnt get blue eggs ever put do have a RIR that strangely lays a pink egg ... and she is pure RIR ... and no extra nutrients etc has ever changed it lol she is just an oddball ... its actually so light brown that it looks pink ... but she hasnt started laying yet this year .. and she may not .. she is getting up there in age

Yeah we have a rir at the field (Michaels chickens) that lays one like that- They are very pretty against the other earth toned browns, and they really are pinky!!. He has barred rocks too.
I love putting all the pretty eggs together and taking pics

they are pretty!!
The reason I have white leghorns was so that I could have white eggs to show off the colors of the others. Just like putting an olive egg next to a blueish egg- makes the blue stand out!!

I love my EE's....each one different, all sweet, and a rainbow of eggs!!!!

Sorry they are two fuggly chicks. The chicks are not old enough to lay eggs yet, and one is a hen and the other is my only EE roo. And he has crooked green toes that go in every direction also.

I have 5 BA and 2 EE's that will be old enough to start laying anytime next month. My other EE's should start abt. Aug sometime. They are so friendly I love them so much! I go out there and they come sit around my feet and let me pet them all! My DH calls me the chicken whisperer....
