Chat Temporarily Disabled

Due to some unethical and disrespectful behavior (someone posing as a moderator in chat) we'll be temporarily removing chat from BYC.

We're in the process or resolving a few issues including:

1) Making sure only logged in members of the forum can access chat
2) Make sure members can not change their chat names.

Thank you for your patience as we work through this issue.

I do hope that the guilty party is banned for life from this forum. This is a great place for chicken people to get together and share their experiences. It is sad when some go out of their way to destroy that experience for others.

This may be a blessing in disguise. I think I've found an option that will provide for a better chat experience and will be much more secure and stable.

Thanks for working so hard on it nifty. I have really enjoyed getting to know a few of the forum people on a more one on one basis in chat. I for one appreciate the work that you and the moderators do to keep this a really nice place to hang out.

Hate to see that chat is diabled, but it sounds like it will be better when its back.
The name changing kind of got on my nerves anyway.
