I have six chickens. Three Easter Eggers and three Wyandottes. One of the Wyandottes vocalizes a LOT. And it’s raspier….. is that just her personality?? Or am I missing something??

How old are they? Some hens are just more talkative than others. You can check her over for any signs of a respiratory problem. Sometimes when they are fighting something off they can get a raspy voice if it isn't normal for that particular bird.

They are 5 mos.
She’s just chatty. All day, I can hear her talking. It’s not raspy, like she’s sick. But raspy; like a drawn out squawk?

As long as she's otherwise healthy, that's just her voice and she's just a very chatty girl
