Pekins are not only ducks and a name for bantam cochins but another breed in themselves. They are very similar to bantam cochins, that is why they are sometimes called Pekins too. Someone was not being very creative

what about a plastic box with a hole and you can get pekin batem chickens

It would depend on the ventilation factor. Are you just temporarily keeping some?

You are not going to be able to make a real home for them out of a card board box or a plastic box either. You are going to have to build them a real coop or get rid of them one, that is just how it is. Chickens are like anything else, they need proper shelter and housing. To live in a little cardboard or plastic box would be no life at all.

You could keep them in a box for a few days while you build something but definitely put them in something bigger as soon as possible. A cardboard box or plastic box works fine for chicks, but not for full size chickens.
