Yeah, you've misunderstood the pricing. The price is per chicken, minimum of five per breed, minimum of 15 per order. It's still pretty cheap considering they are including shipping. They are priced similarly to Hoover's.

I was looking to buy baby chickens and I saw some websites that sold baby chickens. I have never bought baby chickens from a website but it costs around $2 for 5 baby chickens... Is that normal?

I ordered mine from Cackle Hatchery. What you have found is a bad rip off! You need to order from a hatchery, not some website. I'm very pleased with Cackles service and the quality of chicks I have. All healthy and happy and ones name is Sassy Pants!

It isn't a rip off, Duncan's is a legit hatchery. The OP thought that the price was for 5 chicks because they have a 5 per breed minimum like Cackle. If they'd put 5 in their cart, they would have realized their mistake.
