Cheap natural chicken food

I think a more important question is do you have the knowledge to mix your own feed?
There is much more to a feed mix than adding product A with product B and coming up with a complete feed that fill your poultry's nutritional needs.

The simplest way you be to use a poultry concentrate that contains all the vitamins, minerals, amino acids etc. that your birds need to survive and produce.
A concentrate allows you to add some of your grains to the mix.

Example--

MIXING DIRECTION UTILIZING BUCKEYE 40% POULTRY CONCENTRATE*

18% Layer

Corn 1200 lbs
40% protein concentrate 700 lbs
Oyster Shells 50 lbs
Calcium Carbonate 50 lbs

X2

And that's about the only way one can make a complete feed that comes close to the price of a complete feed.

When I price grains, they come close to the price of a bag of feed.
Yes, we would like to feed our chickens well and at lower cost but my advice is to get a complete feed and grow forage in season that also contains a variety of insects and other bugs.
Off season, there's not much else to do.

Another thing to consider is that when you offer a feed that is a mixture of a supplement, grains and perhaps a calcium source, the birds are going to sort and may not actually take in a totally balanced diet, even though you have provided one. The advantage of feeding a complete crumble or pellet is that every bite is the same and delivers complete nutrition to the bird.
