10 Gallon Aquarium with lid or makeshift lid
Empty Oreo cookie tray
napkins like 9
spray bottle
towel
work light or reptile light
Set up the aquarium or foam box so you can reach into it e asilly
Make sure its near an outlet
Fold napkins in half once
Line empty oreo tray with folded napkins
Spray lined napkins in oreo tray just lightly enough to shape napkins better into the folds of the oreo box.
When dry, set tray in the middle of the 10 gallon or foam box
Place the eggs as you would in an egg carton letting them lean on thier side slightly
Set up the lamp directly over the eggs but not inside the aquarium. On top of the lid.
Cover / drape everything with the towel to keep the heat in, cover the glass as much as possible just cover the light and lid on a foam box.
Rotate the eggs 1/4 rotation every 8 hours
Use the spray bottle once every morning to mist the eggs with lukewarm to like slightly under body temp water, even cool water is ok.
THIS IS MY FIRST ATTEMPT AT AN INCUBATOR
FIRST EGGS WERE ADDED 10 DAYS AGO and TWO NEW EGGS TODAY.
WILL UPDATE BUT THE TEMP IS STAYING VERY REGULAR AND ITS SUPER EASY TO ROTATE THE EGGS
