You've heard of "new car smell"?

Those pics gave me "new coop smell".....and it's good!

A few days ago DH and I were discussing options. Should we get all the poo out of the coop and put it in the compost pile...or should we lift the coop off the ground and relocate it leaving the poo behind and simply call that the compost pile. If I wasn't so ashamed I'd go get a camera. I have a corner in the coop where the "big crappers" all seem to sit together at night...after a week there is a pile like stalatmites. The next time I build a coop it will be large enough to pull the tractor in and scoop it out with the bucket thing we use to trench with. Or maybe drive a snowplow through it.

this coop is inside this barn and it is on the left side!

Buster where are you in Idaho? we were stationed in Mountain Home. SE of Boise!
