If you are concerned about active breezes coming in thru the pophole, have you considered making some sort of windbreak or 'covered porch' on the outside of the pophole?

If you made it out of transparent stuff like Suntuf (you would only need one short sheet, ~$35 here in Canada, I have no idea what it costs in the states)on a wooden frame, you might get a little actual warming from it on sunny days, but even if it were made out of nontransparent materials or was just a windbreak instead of a full top-and-two-walls enclosure you would at least reduce the draft coming into the coop. You might even be able to just stack some haybales.

N.b. - if you just do a windbreak not a porch type thing you may have to tweak it a bit once snow comes in order to find a configuration that puts drifts where you want them as opposed to "blocking the chickens' way"
