we just finished our coop and moved the birds in. we built the entire thing by hand!

It's not ugly at all. Your chickens look proud of it. Is that a Dominique or a Barred Rock, I couldn't tell?

I think it a great little coop. Everyone seems happy ans safe in it and that it the important thing.

now keep in mind we finished the coop right before hurricane ike and we live in houston so this is the coop after the storm, completely untouched even our house lost some shingles

That is a great coop!!! And to weather the storms so well is really an accomplishment. You appearently have never seen an ugly coop before. There is man near my home that looks to have constructed all his coops with shoestrings, cardboard and of course ducktape!
