This is my mini-coop for my itty bitties. They aren't quite big enough to hold their own against this monster:

It does have doors, I know they're hard to see. The bottom is covered in hardware cloth and I slid in a piece of luan, so they won't catch any toes. The open part at the top is also covered in hardware cloth. The roof is part corrugated clear polystuff and part metal. The run is just chicken wire topped with plastic poultry fence (those little buggers can fly). It's positioned within the big horse fence run. The only drawback so far is that the other birds like to get on top of the run and poop on the itty bitties' little heads. I spend more time than I'd like running them off of it. I really think they consider my antics a floor show, and regard each violation as a request for an encore. I know I've mentioned before my method of locking doors at night with a barrel lock and a split ring. I thought I'd post a picture:

Did you buy that lock or make it? That is pretty cool.

Your mini coop is cute for the bitty ones.Lots of room in the run too.

Thanks. The lock is from Home Depot. It's just a $4.99 barrel lock and a 2/.97 keyring. I haven't had any break-ins yet, so it hasn't really been tested, but I can't pull it free. It's a thumb club only apparatus.

I am going to look for that at my HD next time I am there. It looks like it will work for my egg box.

Thanks
