First off, I know he has a straight comb. Of course, out of the 6 chicks I bought, he was the only roo.
But here he is in a side shot....

And here he is next to a 4 month old bantam. Now granted, my bantams are pretty small, but this guy is huge!! He is as big as my dad's 4 month old RIR and Buff orps!!

Here are some of his girls, just because they are cute

hes a big guy i have a pretty big golden laced wyndottie roo but sont know how to add photos to this

He is massive! I wish he would have gotten next to one of his girls! He is easily twice as big as they are! He is also the same size as my OEG hen, and she is bigger than most OEG's as well. They were actually sparring...she gave up!

It's too bad all his girls are 'dainty'. I know there have been people looking for large silkies for brooding...

I have another silkie roo that is grey. He is the same size as the white hens.

at least his comb is small, even if it is a single comb. I had a single comb hen that laid the biggest silkie eggs I ever saw. She laid one a day for months on end too!

That would be nice! One of his girls for sure had started to lay. I think there may have been 2 of them laying. Anyway, I got 6 eggs and they (or she) quit.

2 of the eggs had gotten frozen, so that left me with 4. I set 2 in the bator, and they were both fertile. I'm thinking they are red pyle OEGB mixed though, as whenever I see Mr. silkie trying his thang he usually is headed the wrong way!
