Can ground hornbills be kept as ornamental birds

Ground hornbills are my favorite animal and I will really love to work with either of the 2 species, I have seen a southern ground hornbill on a site called enimalia.com but i dont know much about them in a private setting,how much they cost ,i know theyre almost entirely carnivorous tho

As with 95% of the other exotic bird species you've been curious about, they require large amounts of specialized care and appropriate environment. They also very likely are illegal to keep unless you at least have a permit or are a zoo.

I am not sure if we are talking about the same birds, but I had the opportunity to see the Southern ground hornbill, B. leadbeateri, when I was in South Africa at a wildlife rehab. They were INSISTENT with all visitors that no one give the male anything at all. They were very concerned about him incorrectly getting the idea that some sort of exchange could be a mating exchange and what that would do to him.

Perhaps you could work with a rescue or rehabilitator near you in service of these great birds, and maybe one day go and see them in the wild. At that wildlife rehab I got to experience an encounter with one of the vultures that lived there, and it was absolutely amazing.
