Check out these colorings!!!

These are from our first ever hatch and they were backyard mix from a lady that breeds several types but hadn’t separated her birds out yet. I hope some of these turn out as cool as they are looking so far!!! I love they gray ones idk what you call how their feathers are turning. Any idea about these feathers showing up on the ones head?! Polish mix maybe?? I do see maybe 6 that I’m already suspecting to be cockerels though and we only plan on keeping one.

I think that’s what makes the mixes so much fun!!! Check out this one...no clue what it’s a mix of or what you can that coloring, any ideas?! I’m really hoping it’s a hen. It’s 5 weeks old and my cockerels from the same hatch have been pretty obvious for awhile.

They are really unique! I like the lighter one in your very first picture, all the way to the left in the middle row...I have a few blue andalusians right now for the first time and I love that gray! I want to fast forward a few weeks to see the color changes. Are the newest pictures the same chicks from your first post?!

Yes they are all from my first ever hatch! 20/30 in an old hand me down little giant incubator!

I believe it’s a polish mix but Yeup it’s as close to a real Mohawk as I’ve seen!
